Comedian Bernie McGrenahan will offer two special performances of his Happy Hour comedy show for service members in the Stuttgart military community April 18.
McGrenahan uses comedy to push across his message that touches on sensitive issues military members face today, including alcohol abuse, suicide and sexual assault.
Following a 30-minute stand-up comedy routine, McGrenahan will give personal testimony of his own experiences with high-risk drinking and drug abuse, and his younger brother’s suicide.
The Happy Hour show, sponsored by the U.S. Army Garrison Stuttgart Army Substance Abuse Program, will be held in the Kelley Theater from 10 a.m. to noon and in the Patch Community Club from 2-4 p.m.
Attendees will receive two credit hours towards their annual ASAP training requirement.
