In order to stay in line with Army Regulation, please note the following updates to the smoking policy for USAG Stuttgart Army Family Housing residents.
- Smoking in housing entry ways, common areas, balconies, stairwells, basements, and on playgrounds remains prohibited
- Residents may smoke within their family housing quarters but must ensure doing so does not cause smoke to enter a neighbor’s home. Any damages to government quarters, associated with smoking, including but not limited to painting and removal of smell, will be the responsibility of the resident
- Residents are encouraged to smoke outdoors but may not do so closer than 50 feet of a playground or government facility
