This page is intended to provide an overview of service closures and adjustments in the Stuttgart community over the holiday season. Additional service updates will be added as they are received.
Services operate according to their normal schedules, including regularly scheduled closures, except on days listed.
Please note that, unless otherwise noted, services are CLOSED on the federal holidays of Dec. 24 (Christmas Eve), Dec. 25 (Christmas Day) and Jan. 1 (New Year’s Day). Listed dates are in addition to these closures.
Dec. 26 and Jan. 6 are public holidays in Baden-Württemberg, with some on-post services closed or adjusted as a result. Service adjustments due to local national holidays are listed on the page of each service.
If you are unsure whether a service is open, please call ahead before planning a visit.

In addition to normal Monday through Friday hours, the customer service window at all Community Mail Rooms (CMRs) will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for package pickup on the following Saturdays: Dec. 21 and Jan. 4.
CMRs will be open limited hours on Christmas Eve (Dec. 24) and New Year’s Eve (Dec. 31), from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (CMRs will maintain these hours on Dec. 24 despite the federal holiday declaration).
