The Armed Services Blood Program (ASBP) is hosting a blood drive at the Kelley Fitness Center on Nov. 4-5, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The event is open to all individuals with base access, and appointments are highly encouraged to ensure smooth and efficient participation. Only limited walk-in slots will be available.

The blood drive is vital to supporting the military community, with a critical need for Type O blood donors. Eligibility guidelines have recently expanded to allow more people to donate, following updates from the FDA.

Basic Donor Eligibility:

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Open to individuals with base access
  • Must be able to read and speak English at a B2 level
  • No tattoos from outside the U.S. or travel to malaria-risk areas within the past three months

This drive is supported by U.S. Army Garrison Stuttgart and sponsored by the Red Cross and Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers (BOSS). Every donation helps save lives and contributes to the well-being of service members and their families.
