The Armed Services Blood Program (ASBP) will be hosting a blood drive at the Kelley Fitness Center from Feb. 3-4.

The event is open to all individuals with base access, and appointments are highly encouraged (click here for Feb. 3 and here for Feb. 4) to ensure smooth and efficient participation. Only limited walk-in slots will be available during the drive’s operating hours of 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Volunteers may also sign up using these links.

The blood drive is vital to supporting the military community, and thanks to relaxed restrictions, many more people are now eligible to donate. There are no longer “Mad Cow” disease restrictions for time in Europe/UK, more LGBTQI+ personnel can donate, and there is only a three-month wait to donate after getting tattoos outside the U.S. or traveling to malaria-risk areas. Read more about eligibility here.

Basic Donor Eligibility:

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Open to individuals with base access
  • Must be able to read and speak English at a B2 level
  • No tattoos from outside the U.S. or travel to malaria-risk areas within the past three months

For more information or to schedule an appointment, visit the appointment link.

This drive is supported by U.S. Army Garrison Stuttgart and the American Red Cross-Stuttgart Station. Every donation helps save lives and contributes to the well-being of service members and their families.
